I Think I Can Do This

What sucks about living alone is not having someone to cook food for you. I really wish I have some sort of a robotic butler. It would really make my days easier.

I am not afraid of medical school (but don’t quote me on this since school hasn’t officially start yet) because I have an ego big enough to motivate me to stay on top. However what really gets me down is an empty stomach. I feel like it’s the end of the world and everybody is against me when I’m hungry.

This is going to be a long weekend.

Oh dear, do you want me to send you a couple of quick & easy one dish recipes for you? A crock pot is a dream to have. You just trow everything in & set it on low & it cooks by itself all day & is ready by the time you get home. If you want recipes tell me what you have to cook in & with (stove, microwave) *I don’t know if you are living in dorm or in a house* I had to live on my own & my mother gave me recipes that saved me from having to do a lot of cooking (I hate cooking).

Oy, I know the feeling all too well. I wish I had a personal cook too. :( wow, well I really hope all goes well when you do start med school!! :D how soon do you start?

=O buy a rice cooker! But raw rice might be a bit expensive…hmmmm…i’m sure you’ll learn how to cook splendily after a few weeks of rigorous practice. =D

Hehe, I’m practicing my cooking skills this summer since I’ll be leaving home for college and I won’t be leaving in a dorm. My cup noodle plan backfired since I started getting migraines this year, so I’m too afraid to mess around with MSG…

If I could, I would totally invent a robotic butler for us and send you one. =D

Hev: I’m not sure what is a crock pot. At first, I thought you said crotch pot. No thank you, lol. Don’t worry, my plan is to cook ALOT during the weekend to last out the weekdays. I’ll let you know how that goes. Then again, before I know it, I’ll be eating out of noodle cups lol. I live in a house with another med student and a nursing student. Hopefully, we’ll get along.

Brigitte: Thanks. To be honest, I’m not sure if I am ready for med. I’m not sure if I am smart enough for it too. Maybe there was a glitch somehow and they thought that I was good. Maybe, I slip through the crack of admission. Who knows …. I’ll let you know how it goes when we get our first exam. :) Class starts tomorrow. I’ll be blogging, lol.

Karen: That is what I have in my kitchen, a giant bag of rice, lol. My roommate was surprised, lol. Asians …. hahaha.

Thao: Going away for college huh. Not going away was the best thing for me during college, all I have to do is study, my parents would just cook for me. It was sweet. Now, I can only cry.

That’s what I’m worried about too. While I’m still in junior high, I’m already worried about who will cook my food :p. Right now, I’m already studying how to cook so that I won’t regret of what would the future bring upon me. :D

    Hi there,

uhm…sorry if i spam your comment system :-[
but i don’t found any contact to you, no email or anything else…Why I write :

Your design “Solipsus” is very nice, that’s my favorite design for my blog. But what about a second version of this style ? What I mean is, that you can set the blog area in the middle and on the left and right could be place for some widgets. For example :
On the left you’ve got your blog calendar, the middle is for the blog and on the right you’ve got your link-list. What do you think about that ? Please write back !

    Bye (:

That’s what microwaveable food is for! lol

Ouch. I can’t wait to get out of the house and be “independent” on my own. I keep hearing about how hard it is to be cooking by yourself etc. but at the moment I’m just brushing those complaints off. My sis is graduating from med school this year! But she refuses to move out to live closer to the hospital she really wants to work at.

"There ought to be behind the door of every happy, contented man someone standing with a hammer continually reminding him with a tap that there are unhappy people; that however happy he may be, life will show him her claws sooner or later, trouble will come for him--disease, poverty, losses, and no one will see or hear, just as now he neither sees or hears others." ~ Anton Chekhov, Gooseberries
